they freed a lot of people:dion sings “abraham, martin, and john” (video 3:15)

It’s been less than six months since I posted this video of ’60s pop star Dion singing homage to Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Robert F. (Bobby) Kennedy. It’s worth repeating.

In answer to the song’s question, my answer is “Yes, I did love the things that they stood for.”

And I still do.

Give a listen and look here.

  1. I adore this man, his visionary dream for a better world,
as well as adore you for posting this video Sister…

I am posting something on HeartSongs too. I celebrate my birthday each January with him in the forefront of my mind and always in my heart…since a small child.

I also wrote another poem for your perusal on Stone Soup when you have some time…

May your day be filled with peace and vision Sister!
    All my Love!
