Pray tell! What seer doth divine
In soggy tea leaves, curdled wine
These ancient rhythms pulse, now bore
In loosening the golden cord ~
A harlot, a jackass, a tune unsounded
The tale of the Grail, masked illusion unshrouded,
Strewn about, whirling unfettered grace
Upon center stage Love claims her place
Unraveled life, unpeeled, exposed
At once reveals the core of those
Who would not choose (as Heaven knows)
To arc in triumph, fall to repose,
Relentless hammers poised, now silent
The hush of peace blankets softly the violent ~
Cease now all suffering, wash clean all confusion
Dispatch swiftly your doubts, apprehensions, delusion
The gift is proffered, appears to shine
With blessings wrought, Yes! This is mine!
It carries my name, scriven line for line
Seems perfect, pure, yet wait! Entwined
In layers golden, webs spun fine,
Rests the unexpected, the undefined
This kingdom lost, the Queen takes throne
Ascends her bed of scattered stones
Arise! The crone calls forth the moon
Bedecked in gown of light, she croons
Her song of life, to death gives honor
Radiant sun, endless stars ride fast upon her
This sacred marriage blooms in passions freed
Unleashed, untamed, on frothing steed
Beyond limits of reason true seeds are sown,
Imagination delivers life’s most fertile loam
Every serpentine valley in haze now unwrapped
Fragments now gathered, wholeness rendered intact
The wise traveler knows that no steps go untaken
No road leads to nowhere, you have not been forsaken!
Consigned to the fire, ego’s romp now contained
Up ahead, yonder meadow donned in dance unconstrained ~
Open wide, take heart, all is newly arrayed
Cease wandering, writhing, you have not been betrayed!
Now! Kiss every star in this once-darkened night
When only wings remain, you can do naught but take flight
