This is the twenty-second installment of “Be Ready for the Wonderful: Words of Well-Being to Ease Your Way Through Change.”
Be Expressive
Some people invite change in and then let it rattle around endlessly with no place to go. Perhaps they develop buyer’s remorse or find themselves overtaken by a case of cold feet.
When energy wishes to move — and change is, after all, nothing more than energy in transit — it needs an outlet. It’s up to you to provide a safe avenue of expression before this life force in motion explodes under pressure.
Expression takes many forms. You can walk, bike, swim, or work out at the gym. You can pick up a pencil or paintbrush or put down new flooring. You can take your creativity into the kitchen or out to the garden, volunteer for a nonprofit, or assist someone who needs a hand.
What matters most is that you keep your energy moving and fend off stagnation before it rears its ugly head. There’s no express lane for speeding through change, but you’ll get through tie-ups and delays in better shape when you make time to be expressive.
I love the sublime wisdom you ooze, great vibration, beautiful work and generous shares, thank you, regards, Barry
